News about Lee's art, exhibitions and gallery updates

The first big news is the launch of this website! It's been a long time coming, but then all good things come to those that wait.

Art will always take as long as it takes, and there's simply no rushing it. Sometime the muse is present, but often she's away seeking inspiration somewhere before eventually returning and tapping the artist on the shoulder. When that happens there is a flurry of creative activity.

Best laid plans! Before Covid arrived Lee had planned a solo exhibition for 2021 titled 'Tiller 2020' - It was to feature twenty large impressionist paintings created during 2020. That's been shelved for now but he has recently embarked on a new series of 'expressionist' paintings influenced by the poem 'The Lark Ascending' by George Meredith and the music of the same name by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
