Buying a painting by Lee Tiller – What You Need to Know
I genuinely want the process of buying a painting to be simple, transparent, but most of all, enjoyable.
Here’s everything you need to know:
Payment & Ownership
-
Prices are listed in Euro (€).
-
Once payment has been received in full, the painting is yours to own.
-
Please note that while you own the physical artwork, I (the artist) retain the copyright. This means I can still use images of the work for exhibitions, prints, or promotion, but you can enjoy and display the original painting as you wish.
Delivery
-
Paintings are carefully packaged and shipped internationally.
-
Delivery costs and times are shown at checkout.
-
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, or fees may apply in your country. These are the buyer’s responsibility.
-
I’m not able to cover customs costs or delays, but I’ll always provide the right paperwork to make the process smooth. I am always here to help.
Returns & Cancellations
-
Purchasers in the EU have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day your painting arrives. If you change your mind, you can return it (at your own cost) for a refund, as long as it’s in its original condition and packaging.
-
Commissioned artworks (custom pieces made to order) can’t be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
If Things Go Wrong
-
I always do my best to ensure everything runs smoothly. However, if a buyer delays or prevents a sale (for example, by not paying, refusing delivery, or not providing the needed details), I may have to cancel the order. In that case, any deposit or payment made may be retained to cover costs.
-
If a painting ever arrives damaged, please get in touch right away and I’ll work with you to put it right.
